In the classic bad-girl tradition of the Runaways came the Donnas, a teenaged quartet comprised of vocalist Donna A., guitarist Donna R., bassist Donna F. and drummer Donna C. After issuing a handful of singles, the group released a self-titled LP on the tiny Superteem label; upon signing with Lookout!, the Donnas returned with 1998's American Teenage Rock 'n' Roll Machine.
