Paul Van Dyk

Berliner Paul van Dyk began DJ'ing in the late '80s. His first club performance was in 1991 at Berlin's famed E-Werk, which would later become his home club. Van Dyk released several singles and two albums in Europe (on MFS Records) and the U.K. (on Deviant Records). He also became a prominent remixer for artists such as New Order. With electronic music's rise in popularity in America,Mute Records released van Dyk's two albums (45 RPM and Seven Ways, with a bonus disc of remixes of van Dyk's singles) in the United States.
